In 1924, Nicholas and Henry Seippel established an agricultural consulting cooperative in the mid west of the United States to manage and share agricultural risks amongst local producers. Though the company discontinued operations in the late 1930's with the entrance of corporations into the agricultural industry, the business name continued.
In 1989 Phillip Seippel established the Insurance Service Associate (I.S.A.) agency in Mallorca, Spain. After several years of successfully underwriting in a variety of markets, including commercial, personal and marine, Phillip decided to revive the family business name and convert his company into a fully accredited insurance brokerage.
Today Seippel & Seippel represents all of the major international insurance companies worldwide, and has working agreements with the largest international brokerage firms. The company is able to consult an individual's insurance needs as well as those of a large scale business with complex requirements. Seippel & Seippel has its head offices in Santa Ponsa Boulevard business center in Mallorca's South West area.
